As the winter grow cold, it’s time to paint more minis (wait it’s always that time…)! Gather here and see what’s new!
A whole new batch of mismatched minis, as usual to use in the Project Dungeon setting. Some plastic, more metal, various era covered, what I thought to be a good random encounter!
Long time since I posted anything here…I guess there’s times like these. Anyway, I’m rethinking a bit about articles, and since painting is my main activity, I sometimes lack motivation to write about everything who fall under the brushes. So from now on I’m going to talk here mainly about personal projects.
Back to what it’s all about, minis! I’ve achieve a fair amount of an oldschool army, but in between I managed to squeeze some nice additions to the Project Dungeons.
There’s much more out of the family picture, but I’m gonna start with these! If you want to see other tuff, you’ll have to stay with us for a while…
Late middlehammer commision this time, with a little kislevite force, in order to patiently wait for the Old World return.
Nothing exceptional, classic but effective paint scheme. The center regiment are late 2000’s official Kislev range, the dogs are oldhammer dark elves pets, the last three came from Privater Press Khador faction, which fit perfectly the thematic.
Here’s a good change this time. I was contacted by http://uscarlminis.free.fr, in order to paint one of they Bloodbowl team.
So here’s a combination of the lowest forms of life from the old world, the Underworld team! The troll is sculpted by Team Uscarl, skavens are from Tim Prow, and goblins came from Kevin Adams! Well those seems to be right on the spot for me…
And man it was awesome! I can’t say enough how much I love to paint old lead, even more this kind of monobloc guys. It was an all around fun and pleasing project.
Well with nothing else to do than paint, at least the lead pile tend to lowering a bit (I mean really just a bit…). So here’s a whole new army intended to be played in Saga Age of Magic.
After one lucky find on the second hand market and a few Ebay frenzy search, I ended up with this new project for an Underworld Saga list. I took extra care to collect only metal models, as they’re more expressive than those poor plastic versions at the time. It sometimes makes it hard to find since the plastic boxes came at a lower price than the lead blisters at the time, but except for Terradons, Lizard and Snakes Swarm and one Saurus champion, I managed to get the whole range.
Well, not so much of writing these days, although I still got my share of painting, and also too many projects (as usual). So here a few fellows for various uses, in direct line from the (still living (not undead)) project dungeon.
A few baddies and a band of scums. The painting goes as usual, even though I tried something a bit different from time to time, I always landed back to my basics (still a bit annoyed about that). Lire la suite →
